Delete Your Account

This page explains how to permanently delete your FlowScan account and what happens to the data associated with it. FlowScan (com.thinkteam.flowscan) is operated by Think Team Sdn Bhd, Tingkat 2 No 1 Jalan P4/8B, Palm Industrial Park, Bandar Teknologi Kajang, 43500 Semenyih, Selangor, Malaysia.

Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest route and needs no request from us:

1. Open FlowScan and sign in.
2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
3. Confirm. The deletion runs immediately.

This cannot be undone.

If you cannot sign in

Email info@thinkteam.biz from the address on the account, with the subject Delete my FlowScan account. We will verify that the request comes from the account holder before acting on it, and may ask you a question only the account holder could answer. We complete verified requests within 30 days.

One case where deletion is refused

If you are the only administrator of an organization that still has other members, the app will refuse to delete your account and tell you so. Promote another member to administrator first — otherwise your colleagues would be locked out of their own workspace. Once another administrator exists, deletion proceeds normally.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in credentials.
• Your profile — name, email address and user ID.
• Your membership of every organization you belong to.
• If you were the only member of an organization, that organization is deleted with you, and so is everything under it: inventory items, orders, production runs, quality checks with their photos, deliveries, documents and contacts.

What is kept, and for how long

• Warehouse records in an organization that has other members. These belong to your employer, not to you, so they stay with the organization. Your membership and profile are still removed. If you want that organization's records deleted, the request has to come from its administrators.
• Billing and invoice records. Kept for as long as Malaysian tax and accounting law requires.
• Encrypted backups. Deleted data can persist briefly in encrypted backups before those backups age out on their normal rotation. Backups are never retained longer than 30 days, after which the deleted data is gone from them too.
